The Hindu festival of Teej is marked by women fasting and praying to Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati for marital bliss. Teej is one of the biggest festival of Nepal. In this festival womens keeps fast in those, days.  The go to temple and take fast for their husbands.  They sing, dance, go to relatives house , etc. in this days.

Womens were red sari,green potae , and dance ,play music, etc. Now a days, girls keep fast for their boyfriends. They eat fruits, juice , etc. while fasting.They keep fasting for theirs husband long life.

In teej All school gives 4 or 5 days holy day.  Teej is  mainly celebrated by (Bramina & Chetteries ).  Teej is a generic name for a number of festivals that are celebrated by women mainly in Nepal .
